Our story began in 2006

AB Metaforiki started in Athens in 2006 as a small family business. With one truck and three people, we began helping neighbors and friends in Ampelokipoi. Eighteen years later we handle moving in Athens and Attica every day — our fleet and team have grown, but the idea stays the same: every move is different and deserves its own attention.

What we do differently

The moving industry is full of "packages" and "basic services." We chose a different path. Every home, every office, every warehouse is different. To give you a real quote, we take time to visit your space and listen to what you actually need. Only then do we talk about price.

Our own equipment, our own people

We do not use subcontractors. The trucks you see on the road are ours. The crews that come to your door are full-time staff with years of training. That way, no one passes blame — we own the result.

Insured transport

Every job is covered by an insurance policy. We share the cover details with you before you sign the contract. Once your belongings are in our truck, we are responsible.

Fleet & equipment

Modern trucks of different sizes — from 8 m³ for studios and small apartments up to 60 m³ for larger homes or commercial spaces. Full loading equipment: tie-down straps, ratchet belts, ramps, dollies, lifting platforms for floors without elevators, and special tools for disassembling furniture.
